The Cemetery is a large man-made structure, quite similar to the church , that contains many types of loot like food, drinks, utilities , packs, guns, and ammunition .

Overview[]

The Cemetery, before the apocalypse, was used as a place for mourning and burying the dead. After the infected struck, the place seemed to have been completely ransacked, though the graves and crypts are left untouched. It is located near Hark and Olke. Refer to the Map  for the exact location. The walls surrounding the cemetery has holes in them, presumably blown up or knocked down. The entrance of the cemetery has barricades outside, suggesting that early survivors, with the help of the military, have been using this place as a small base, but was then overrun. About seven or more zombies can spawn around or in the area, though they are relatively easy to get rid of for a horde.

The Cemetery can be good for making a base, the only problem is that it is a hotspot for players like bandits. Also, the hill in front of Cemetery gives bandits good sniping spot, and flat space behind church, that has rocks and trees, gives a lot of cover for bigger battles. The Cemetery is perfect place for base, if people living inside it know how to shoot. A PP-19 and an M249 have been reported to spawn in one of the little sheds, meaning that they have a chance of spawning military loot. A G18 has also been found along with an Mk 23, as well as a Beretta M9 . The problem with turning it into a base is the abundance of entrances which must be barricaded and guarded. The bell tower is helpful for that. Inside the church there are mainly civilian spawns such as food, drinks and some tools. Blood Bags do not spawn here, and military equipment is mainly found at the barricades in the front of the Cemetery. Military loot can be found in the front of the church.

Trivia[]

  • Not following the simple zombie rules, there are no holes below the graves or opened crypts. This might mean that dead, uninfected humans cannot be infected. This might also mean that The Virus does not flow through the air. Though, they might already have been turned into zombies and are unable to find their way out.
  • If you climb up the tower ladder, you'll notice the bell looks like the Liberty Bell from the late 1700s, but in the cemetery, it has 2 cracks.
  • There is a message at the cemetery saying: 'ABOLISH YOUR SINS', presumably written by Patient Zero or possibly the former pastor.
